The Apothecary Diaries is a Japanese light novel series written by Hyuganatsu and illustrated by Touko Shino, published since 2011. By February 2025, the franchise – including the light novel and two manga adaptations – has 40 million copies circulating in Japan alone. The TV anime series produced by Toho Animation Studio and OLM began airing its first season in October 2023, and its second season in January 2025. A sequel to the animation series has been officially announced.
