Haikyu!! is based on a popular Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Haruichi Furudate. It was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump from February 2012 to July 2020. The story follows junior high schooler Shoyo Hinata, who dreams of becoming a professional volleyball player and joins the school team to realize his dreams, despite his short height.
